In the interview, John discusses the fact that software firms focus too much on technical issues, features and functions, and not enough on building stickiness, customer loyalty and ways to achieve long-term growth and success. John suggests firms should look to build value, as well as gain a greater understanding of the competitive landscape in order to identify opportunity.
