The first post of 2017 on #thedmcollaborators blog is from AIIM’s Chief Analyst Bob Larrivee on important new AIIM research that shows that while business leaders see content analytics as essential, concerns about funding and having the requisite expertise are blocks to progress.
According to AIIM, even though nearly 60% of business executives think content analytics will be essential within five years, only 20% of enterprises are currently using it.
Bob says to move things forward, organisations should be identifying opportunities for content analytics, as well as investing in training.
